I thought it was a tornado.
Sounded like a tornado. Like a freight train.
Then near golf ball size hail went nuts

Watching the backside of that cell north of Ste Gen. Has the look of one that wants to get its poop in a group.

Wow, this thin line hit like a monsoon! Hearing thunder now and it keeps intensifying on radar, 7 miles west of De Soto.

Thoughts on whether that cell headed towards Cape stays tornado warned ? Maybe heading towards Scott City? Also is something trying to form in storm cell mode near Farmington?

I still think this rogue cell going through Washington County looks like it means business at some point. Maybe over toward Centralia.

Well that storm went from 0-60 here in a hurry
Strong winds, torrential rain, and some small hail
Power has been flickering on and off the last several minutes

The echo tops on line 2 have vaulted upwards in excess of 35,000 feet.
It appears that is about the height needed for substantial hail. With these storms.

That Memphis supercell is something else. That has to be one the longest storm plumes I've ever seen.

Well that storm went from 0-60 here in a hurry Strong winds, torrential rain, and some small hail Power has been flickering on and off the last several minutes Yeah, those matured quickly. Ya know...I've been using GOES-16 a lot today. I've found that at least for this event it has been a far better predictor of cell maturity and evolution than radar. I could tell just by looking at satellite that these were going to be severed warned well in advance.

That cell headed toward Centralia and Sandoval (if I'm reading the 3 letter ID's right) has some rotation with it.

Just got a warning for 90 mph winds up here.
That seems excessive, but also I want triple digits if it is going to be that windy.

That Memphis supercell is something else. That has to be one the longest storm plumes I've ever seen. Terminal radar clearly shows the RFD, inflow notch/beaver tail and tornadic circulation clear as day.
