I'm betting the rain tomorrow breaks up as it approaches the river valley and re-develops across E/SE MO...hope I'm wrong, but that's been the pattern lately.

Such a nice thundershower just ending 7 miles west of De Soto. Looking at base radar I thought I was going to get split. Looks like it filled in niceley. Hoping for more back-building to my northwest.

Was getting a massage this morning and had 2 downpours that drowned out the soothing music. Definitely needed that. Rain and the massage.

Rats, just missed the secondary line.
Edit: .125" in the rain can, it seemed like more but it was a good rain.

Rain! I’m not sure how much but I’ll take every bit. Guessing the .25” range. What’s left of the harden will appreciate it.

Even cross over into Canada for a day next week.

Rain! I’m not sure how much but I’ll take every bit. Guessing the .25” range. What’s left of the harden will appreciate it. 0.26" in High Ridge. Seems like the models are starting to look less weird in the mid-range with the upper air pattern starting to move some. The persistent low over the northeast starts moving and breaking down later this weekend and the low meandering around the Bering Sea and the GOA starts to show some signs of moving by D10. The GFS even has a tropical spin up off of the Texas coast out in model fantasyland.

0.05" Break out the milk! I would've thought the training showers/storms running down the river would have given you more. We had another shower around 3:30 but it didn't add anything to our .125" toad strangler.

We had another shower around 3:30 but it didn't add anything to our .125" toad strangler. Radar estimates showed close to a half inch near the river but it was barely enough to knock the dust down in Brighton. This is getting very old.

The pattern into next week definitely looks to become more progressive and active across the region starting Sunday. Models show a string of Pacific energy and moisture getting involved which should boost rain chances. Hopefully we can start to chip away at this drought...

Yea, I'm pretty sold on a pattern change upcoming at this point. Nice stretch of weather coming up with rain chances.
