Scanner was reporting some flooding at 55 & 255 from heavy rain. Wouldn't doubt it. There was a ton of water on Lindbergh in that area

Was in Park Hills all day. Just drove through some heavy rain on the way home. Get to my house and our driveway is more like a raging creek and our pond, which WAS 12" low is overflowing the spillway. Storm total says 4 inches just to my north. Drought buster right there 7 miles west of De Soto.
Edit: I just now see west central JeffCo is under a Flood Advisory

Good CAPE, no cap- looks like pulse type storms afternoon/evening with the weak wind thru the column. Hail potential with the good updrafts and slow moving storms. Just my guess

The Davis on the roof in North St. Pete says 1.7" fell yesterday. I'll add that it mostly came n about 35 minutes with lots of runoff.

This humidity is a killer. Two more flower beds ready for the mulch. I'm ready for only deadheading and watering. I'm too old for tugging, pulling and digging for hours on end.
