Sp glad to hear Rosie is doing better!!
Also this fall has been one of the nicest most beautiful falls I can remember in the St.Louis area.
I know its been a bit warm and very dry, but the nights cool off really well.
I am ready for some storms but hope we can wait until after Thanksgiving for anything wintery with family traveling.

I second the perfect fall 🍁🍂 September was a bit warm, but October was great and now November is just about perfect not too hot not too cold... for a deer Hunter You can't ask for much better!!!
I shot a nice 10 pointer opening morning and a doe last week archery I got a few more days and a few more tags! 🦌
Also I got a flight 6am the 24th so it will probably snow right around that time I'm sure 😂 ❄️ 🧊 ✈️

Models flip flopping with the rest of November, now trending drier (big surprise! -_-) However GFS/GEFS shows hints of a PV disruption around the end of the month into Early December, perhaps even a partial split or elongation which should possibly spell a more colder and possibly active pattern around the Mid December into Christmas time frame. Hopefully it's not a one big brief dump and Winter's over like it was last Winter.

Looks like WSC was onto something with the phasing tropical storm along the E Coast...that's going to be interesting to watch unfold.
Models continue to look substantially colder and more active later next week into early December. The GFS has a juicy looking winter storm setup around here out in fantasy range...if only!

I'll take about three more weeks of boring weather. Dry, seasonable Thanksgiving so the yard isn't a soupy mess for parking, and we can open windows/doors and send the littles outside to spend some energy. Then graduation at Murray State on Dec 9. After that, it can cut loose.
Edit: I really only care about the open windows/doors for cooking time. I'm convinced I have manopause.

That 12z GFS run is awfully close to a kaboom around here just before Thanksgiving
Just need the trough to go negative a bit quicker

Son is receiving his Master's in Cyber in South Dakota on the 9th as well, so I'm with you on this one. Winter can do its thing after the 10th....

Cool rain next week. The system next weekend is more interesting on gfs. But that won't snow here either most likely.

Nah, he's only had some flurries so far this season, and he's in the low 60s this week. He's actually pretty disappointed in the lack of winter weather there the last 3 years.

Cold Season grasses still a growing. This November has been nuts with all the warm. Still Looks like a pattern change is on the way though with near normal to even below normal for a change. Just a couple more days.
