I can’t remember a winter where Northern AND Southern counties outperformed us(Ste. Gen) on a consistent basis. We’ve been in the void.
I would say maybe a 1/2” here in Northern SG County.

Good call on the 2nd surge of snowfall, Chris. Roads are snow/icey down here where nobody lives. Happy Snow Day!!

Looks like 2 inches in st.peters with blowing and drifting. Impressive. I was very suprised to see that So you had to plow all of your clients lots then?? 1/4” of fluffy snow IMBY.

I’m guessing close to an inch here …. The grass is pretty much covered….. hard to tell though with all the blowing…… it’s pretty cool though, the lake is frozen and I have a pretty good drift in front of my boat dock …. That’s something you don’t see every day

Looks like 2 inches in st.peters with blowing and drifting. Impressive. I was very suprised to see that 2” with blowing and drifting? Or 2” total? I would be absolutely shocked to see anyone get an actual 2”. Now 1” seems reasonable. Maybe 1.25”.

There was one WxUnderground station in St. Charles County that had .05". 0.05" was also the highest of any of the short term models. It was fluffy, but I don't think 40:1 LSR fluffy.

We did plow some lots on the st.charles side of the river.
It is hard to measure but many areas not a blade of grass showing. I will be interested to see the totals across the area. It is impossible to measure. But definately 1 to 2

We are currently under one of the small streamers on radar …. It’s very impressive how hard it’s snowing

Monday looks…messy. Not skilled enough to read between the lines on that one on if ice is a real threat or not. Clearly limited due to rising temps that will be at or above freezing by Monday afternoon. Morning could be iffy though. Our classic 32 degree “ice storm”?

Hard to say with how dry the snow is and how much blowing has taken place...but maybe.... maybe we have one inch.

Eyeballing about 0.5" of fresh powder here. Grass is mostly covered, roads are clear though. 9F with a wind chill currently of -5, winds from the NW haven't really picked up yet. There's a mist of snow in the air which at first i wasn't sure if it was wind-blown snow off the trees but...its definitely falling from the sky, nothing on radar so must be really low. Surprised i didn't get notice of an e-Learning day for the kids, figured the district would err on the side of caution (mostly due to temperatures).

I am not looking forward to freezing rain / ice on Monday morning. The timing of that could be disastrous. Hope it is all rain for once.

Like most have said, it is impossible to measure, but it looks like we may have gotten an inch or so in Waterloo. Roads were slick taking the kids to school.

Like everybody else, im estimating a half inch to an inch, and no more in dardenne prairie/southern ofallon. It was wind blown so difficult. Probably split the diff and go with .75, lol. You know we are desperate for snow when a small spread such as half inch difference becomes a topic of conversation on here.

Trying to find a bright spot in all of this. At least the stupid cold temps and general lack of sunshine have let what probably amounted to a couple inches in total, maybe less down our way, hang around for a week. So we got that going for us...which is nice.

Estimating 1½ inches here given the wind. Grass is mostly covered. Streets are mostly just wet, especially since the salt truck came through without the blade down.

I am not looking forward to freezing rain / ice on Monday morning. The timing of that could be disastrous. Hope it is all rain for once. While it may be above freezing by a few degrees…..the ground is frozen solid and won’t have time to thaw before the rain starts. Personally think this is going to be an issue for the better part of Monday

NAM has things dicey by 6-9AM Monday whereas the GFS and GGEM keep the bulk of precip away until later Monday, and mostly rain.

I'm guessing half inch to 3/4 of an inch also. I'm surprised at how much of the ground is covered. I fell asleep before the dark green "Death Band" moved over sometime between 2:00 and 3:00. It must have snowed pretty hard. Temp 17° 7 miles west of DeSoto.

After the warmup next week, all teleconnections are screaming normal weather for the next 2 weeks or so.
It does look like all ensembles attempt to re-establish the ridge over AK, but all fail to do so. That’s a change from earlier this week where that was actually achieved.
That said, it can obviously change. AO is trending neutral, as well as NAO and PNA. MJO is moving into neutral territory as well but exiting neutral in Phase 8, which is a cold phase for us. Fingers crossed!

We may have eeked out a half inch overnight. Looks more like heavy dusting. As guyatacomputer said, salt was put down but there isn't/wasn't anything plowable in this part of North St. Pete.

Euro would have a period of icing Monday as well
I’m still skeptical of icing with a southerly flow, but there is no ignoring the signal and setup the models are showing
