The sun is trying to come out but it's still snowing. Streets are covered and slushy.

Small flakes but it is really coming down, about a quarter mile visibility 7 miles west of De Soto. Maybe between 5/8 and 3/4" now, it's piled up quickly here.đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Still around Lindbergh and Baptist Church. This last band has dropped visibilities just about as much as the thunder band. However it's definitely moving along on radar

Just hit 4.0" in Edwardsville, looks like 1 more hour of precip before it shuts down. Beautiful fluffy dime-size dendrites under this last heavy band. 29F

Forecast verified in Festus. We’re at 1.25” at exit 170 55/61. We had two different rounds of thunder earlier, which was awesome. Moderate snow currently falling.

I just measured 4.5 here on the southern part of Sunset Hills near Mercy South and it’s still coming down albeit lighter. The driveway is completely covered again after I snow blowed it.

Measured in 3 spots in O’Fallon/Dardenne Prarie, 4.5”, 5” & 5.5”. I usually go with the top of my yard waste trash lid which was 5.5 but will go with the avg of 5” where I’m at. Man, those were rabbits falling earlier! Anyone hear thunder?

Right under 3” on south side of Ste. Genevieve. Helped three motorists on 61 , that couldn't get up our northbound lane. Measured in about ten different spots and was everywhere between 2.75 and 3” . Very nice way to finish year if that was it for this winter season! imgur.com/a/oHA2p9E
