Sure would be nice if Congress got together enough to stop the semi-annual nonsense before we have to change back. It's always a good time when you have three kids under the age of ten...... Halloween daylight at 6pm doesn’t seem right.

It's daylight now at 6pm on Halloween since they pushed back setting clocks back an hour by a couple weeks years ago.

Mwh. It'll be north and south. Per usual.

Mwh. It'll be north and south. Per usual. The SPC is already showing a bi modal risk with the area stuck in the middle What else is new

And then the NAM this morning rolls in with a high risk type outbreak across the area Thursday lol
That would be something

FV3 and RGEM are on board with that idea too. Many rotating supercells being modeled in western MO initially before moving into our area late Thursday night. That looks pretty nasty.

A couple of the CAMs even have supercells in central MO Wednesday evening.

A couple of the CAMs even have supercells in central MO Wednesday evening. The 3km NAM has supercells breaking out in central MO at the end of its run. The environment looked heavily capped, but has a classic loaded gun sounding.

Super smoky in my part of High Ridge. Anyone know what's going on?

Super smoky in my part of High Ridge. Anyone know what's going on? Approximately 2000 acres of controlled burns south of Potosi.

First Lawn Mow and mulch of the season under the old belt. Looks like I've got some of the neighbors to get at it too, by seeing me do my work earlier in the day. Now they're at it.

It’s definitely the earliest I’ve looked at my lawn and actually considered mowing it.

I had a few neighbors mow this past weekend.
Im trying to hold off, but the lawn is getting ragged looking in spots.

It'll be interesting to see how those storms are maintained overnight...models show them collapsing as they cross MO but they are being fed by a focused LLJ/WAA

Models look wicked Thursday night into Friday. Might be a heavy rain set up if nothing else.

Quite a few severe reports with a marginal risk and no watches. System seems to be overperforming so far. And that's with dewpoints in the mid to low 50s.

The disappointment emanating from the Davis on the roof in North St. Pete is palpable. No rain was registered. My question is as always, what happened? Radar looked decent coming towards us.

Looks like some big time hailer potential out west again around KC into central/northern Missouri. Possible again Thursday night into very early Friday. Wouldn't be surprised to see some baseballs maybe even softballs this evening near KC, and tennis balls to baseballs on Thursday, especially again northwest of St. Louis. Still a shot at some quarters to golfballs here though Thursday night.

Had some pea sized hail and a little lightning around 3am this morning in South City. Interesting to see that activity develop almost right over the metro. Wonder if it's a harbinger of things to come.....

Wow the 12Z GFS has 24 inches of snow at my house here in Denver by Friday morning. This is a classic spring time upslope storm. If this pans out it will be my biggest snow in my lifetime. Foothills may get up to 50"+!

Day 2 was just updated to include most of the area in a 5% tornado and 15% hatched hail
