Advantage of living where “no one lives”. Took a side by side ride and saw 3 other vehicles 😬. Currently sitting in my living room. Bread in the oven. Did some dishes. Took a shower.

4 acres of open ground if any of you traveling can get to Marissa. Take Rte 4--we're just north of Mud Creek. The actual creek, not the road.

Kinda ticked that I didn't buy solar binoculars. My brother has some. Said people used to look at him funny when he was standing outside staring at the sun when they lived in Kirkwood. He drove over from South Carolina in 2017 and last night. Staying at our cousin's house in Carterville.

Reed Timmer is heading up in a plane over Austin to record the view from the air and then once he lands, he will be storm chasing in Texas. What a day for him and should be some incredible footage once he uploads it. Hope everyone has an amazing time today for those of you that get totality.

Those thin clouds don't seem to have an effect whatsoever on it looks awesome my granddaughter and Grandson out there but we're still not going to see totality. We're at their house back in 2017 when we seen totality so that was cool.

Decided to stop in Coulterville, IL. Got a great, shady spot in the park…not a whole lot of people, and the view is perfect! Super excited!

Well since my brother lives in Oregon I had to rib him I go, "man I haven't heard from you for quite a while, you didn't win that Lottery did you?" I still haven't heard from him so maybe he did.🤔🤔😁

What a magnificent eclipse! Absolutely perfect in Fredericktown. Had a couple of cirrus clouds nearby but not blocking the view in the least. Hopefully everyone got to take a few moments to appreciate it.

Watching the sliver disappear was like watching your kid shoot a free throw in a tie game with no time left on the clock.

That was everything I hoped it would be and then some. Did others see the pink solar flare at the bottom? Wow! I feel like the aura was also more impressive than 2017 too.
