If your bowling in Mascoutah, Jen has the best home made pizza. Dan and Jen are great peeps, and have done a great job with our little hometown 8 lane bowling alley. Mother nature is gonna do her thing no matter what. Bowling is still on so... yay!

You need some of Clarks silicon based lube(aka: Lucas Oil) for your sleds. What everyone didn't know at the time, a poor broke Salesman, by the name of Forrest Lucas, had asked Clark to try the lube on his sled. From that point on, Lucas Oil, has gone on to be the most widely known lubricant names in the world. Hope it’s colder and it’s all snow. 1”-3” of sleet sucks. Ground hog day part 2. 3" of sleet with a glaze of freezing rain on top makes for epic sledding. Like, Clark Griswold-style sledding.

That’s why we have a pool heater...😎 Get ready to get those sunglasses out, a 'sunglasses front' is about to pass through within the next hour or 2 bringing clear skies through Sunday night. Opening up the pool as we speak, sir.

Nobody lives down here anyway, so no worries...🤷♂️ Southerners can't complain about this one... getting 5x more the rest of us. Harsh.

The monkey is off our backs, they’ll come easier now!!!!! OT Stanley Cup post. 2-1/2 hours in line to kiss the cup. Worth every minute of it. A little gross being about the 800th person to do it, but screw it. It might never happen again.

Dear God, I just love moderate rain in January, 3 weeks in a row...... Said no one ever. If we would have had the cold like Nov/Dec, we would have had 3 epic storms in a row.

Must have a lot of snows/blues in the area. Eagles eat well on the geese.
You could just go to dry fork road and see them as well We had one soaring over the house yesterday down where nobody lives.

Did anyone go outside this evening and watch Elon’s train of satellites? Supposedly it was the second launch. It was pretty cool, just watching satellite after satellite fly by. Apparently his Starlink system will have 42k satellites and will provide global internet.

And the team that dethroned the "Greatest Show on Turf", is still on top of that Throne, until Brady retires...lol
I will be the voice of reason... It's only the All Star Break. BUT... there is no denying the excitement this team brings to the ice and this city. We already had something special last year... how about somethingS super special... like two or three cups in a row? This is the kind of team that could pull that off if they stay healthy. The Blues are playing with house money. The Stanley Cup curse is over and now they can play relaxed and with confidence. It's amazing how well a team can play when the stress is off. Enjoy the ride if you're a fan because the window of opportunity is small in the world of pro sports. Remember the "greatest show on turf"? It was a three year window.

I need to do the same, when I get a chance to get up on my building and pull it down. the guys on here said that you can send into Davis to fix them. Something to consider. I’m showing 3.17” storm total from the Davis in Marissa, but I’m not sold that it’s been measuring accurately lately. Might be time to replace.

We have not had that perfect storm/scenario happen with them yet...lol But that's common sense, you don't screw the customer We have a large car dealership, that any snow, basically 1/4"-1/2" we start, plows and chems are a go Even if it doesn’t happen until after they close and closed on Sunday and it warms up on Sunday to melt it away?

Hopefully get the deer moving this weekend at deer camp in Greenfield, not many days left. I wouldn't bother worrying about possible snow here for the next 10 days at the very least. It's going to snow tonight, lol.

Happy Happy New Year to Chris and the Corner Crew......hey, that sounds like a Band.
Saying it now, because at midnight, I’ll be outside making some noise, as most Pyro’s do, this time of year.
Hey Weatherwatcher, keep your ears open, you should hear them out there....lol

Really need some cooler weather for this weekend. Since waterfowl/goose season is subpar....again this year, going to head to deer camp in Greenfield this weekend. It'll be the first time this year using the Ravin crossbow.

We still have quit a bit of snow on the ground, but will put a good dent in it today. Should be gone by tomorrow, except for all the huge piles.

No wasn't me, after my post to you yesterday around 3pm, I was in the truck plowing, until around 6am this morning. Just in time to greet my employee's that were slowly making their way in, surprisingly, I think I'm only down 3 or 4 workers. Then I went home for a much needed nap, now back to work Modracer, is yours the 9.2 storm total from Chris's post on FB? I ask because I can corroborate that total. We had an additional 1.5 to 1 and 3/4's inch last evening during the deformation snow. 9.2 is what I had and I am half a mile or so north, northeast of Mascoutah.

Speaking of Katherine, I thought she also said she scraped snow/ice off the concrete barriers by the gravel piles where she was located I didn't notice it during the morning show. But I did notice during the Katherine Hessel report at 11 AM that she had taped during the morning show that there was (probably measurable) snow in the grass on the grass around her as she had the Troy truck accident in the background. That's way more snow than we had in St. Peters. So I don't think an ice patch can be dismissed as a cause for the accident.

Ditto I hope its mild umtil christmas. I would love a couple 60 amd 70 degree days to get all the yard clean ups done. Being in the snow removal industry. Snow just sucks for us. For the first time in my career I hope we do not get much snow. There is much more money in landscape work than snow removal. Lol.......profit margin in snow removal is the highest you’ll ever see compared to landscaping, mowing etc.
