Snowing as hard or harder than it did yesterday. If it keeps up this is going to add that 1-3“ in big hurry!

Back to sleet again. Headed out to the woods. What about freezing on the roads after dark? Will that be a big concern?

Did anyone else make french toast this morning? I used texas toast and 15 eggs! I stuffed 4 pieces into me. Hubby and 2 teen sons ate 18. Where do they put it? So yes, I got bread, milk and eggs on Thu in preparation.

Officially 13.0m from Villa Ridge, Mo. In New Haven I would also go with 13” based on how deep the ruler was underneath the snow.

Getting some fluffballs mixing in but I think I've yet to see truly heavy snow from this storm. I still feel like there's a bubble of dry air lingering over IL.

Water vapor shows a weak TROWAL starting to develop across N/central MO...I think the short-term models are onto something with the deformation redeveloping this evening and possibly dropping another 1-3" across the area. This will likely favor the I-70 corridor and points just N.
