Clearly landscaper we boh live on the coolest side of the metro but even lambert dropped from 37 to 36. I am very shocked as well. Temps have been flatlining here for 48 hours

I keep going from 33-34 degrees, I still very surprised we have not warmed at all Warm front never made it through so with heavy cloud cover/fog/precip all day there hasn't been any modification or advection of the airmass in place at all.

It’s been in the high 30s all day long in Festus!

There’s really not a lot of warm air south if us, it’s only 42 in Springfield and 39 in rolla. Not the huge push you would expect to get temps up into the 50’s by tomorrow morning

Follow up appt was excellent. Incisions healed up very well. Sutures came out. And now 4 weeks of a boot... then the real fun begins learning how to walk again.

I tell you what, these elevated convection events sure are a sight to behold. Especially the battle between a soupy arctic air mass and a stout stream of Pacific moisture. The dynamics in play are fascinating.

I'm at 35 in north St. Pete. I don't think it's been much warmer than that all day!

Tornado warning for Nashville at the moment. I thought those storms looked pretty frisky on the composite...

NAM likes the idea of keeping the surface low just to the south of STL. The immediate metro never gets out of the 30s... but get into the 50s and 60s just to the south.

Man check out those thunderstorms in northern OK feeding into the cold air. Should be plenty of thundersleet out that way tonight.

Severe warning northwest or Springfield covering a couple potentially severe cells. Eastern most cell has some mid-level rotation with it too.

That would make sense to me...the weight of the cold air is really pushing into the storm. Definitely looks like a severe threat exists to the SE though.

What’s does the ukmet show World Series Much further south and weaker for early next week. More like the FV3. Will be interesting to see if the models back off of turning it into a cutter in the next run or two. They have certainly wound it up today.

That cell near Clinton Missouri looks nasty. It isn't severe warned but must have some nasty hail or hail/sleet. Been a while since I've seen 70+dbz returns.

That's some wild stuff in the western part of the state. Been some years since we've seen it. Anyone out that way on here? Looks like Columbia is about to get some thundersleet.

Crappy cutter on both the 00z Icon and gfs. On to the next run. Before that it's looking like a decent little hit of snow and sleet Sunday. Temps continue to trend downward slightly so maybe we can get something from that lead wave before the cutter.

Southerners get a mix, north of 70 gets 2-4 inches and the STL is stuck in the middle.
