Ripping out there now. Looks like SN+. It is moving so fast though that it doesn't look like it'll last much longer.

Pretty intense here right now in Perryville but it won't last more than another hour. Should add 1.0-1.5" to the seasonal total.

This band is pretty incredible. It's just ripping huge windblown flakes everywhere.

Getting harder to measure with the wind picking up. This is from a more protected area on top of a storage box.

This is definitely the height of the storm...large scale lift is beginning to wane. Looks like most spots in the N 2/3rd of the CWA will end up with 2-3"...maybe a few spots to 4".

99 how much snow you got up that way? I’m not in town but it’s a beautiful white scenery in Montauk Country.

This is what I'm saying. ADJ takes measurements 30 mins before another poster who lives in the same city. And ADJ has 2". Which is the highest report so far from anyone on the metro. The last 30 mins STP has had heavy snow. And now another poster shows 1.4". What the?? By now ADJ should have 2.5-3" To be fair I took my measurement about the same time. Anyway, it is flat ripping snow here now. I'm now up to 1.7".

Seems to have really lightened up here. Still moderate snow with some big flakes mixing in. Band edge looks to be painfully close according to radar. Definitely the biggest flakes I have seen are mixing in. Not very many, just occassional 'mini buglers'. I swear that is what they look like. Looks like a funnel floating down. And yes, like the horn!! Anyone remember "Buglers"?? Just have to make sure you don't misspell it.

Just measured 2 inches in chesterfield. Made it home safely. Video and still shots never seem to do justice to the poor visibility. Roads are awful.

Blowing is making measurements tough.
The grass is covered.
I'd say 2.5-2.75"

I feel bad for the birds... I ran out of seed and they are in my tree probably thinking "WTH?" March is a challenge for them. Natural seeds are getting depleted from winter, no fruit yet, plus ground is covered now with snow. There’s a couple doves & sparrows out there scratching the snow to look for stuff underneath. On top of that, many are starting the nesting process. I have a single bully mockingbird that goes from feeder to feeder chasing other birds off. Brightening up here, but still coming down & larger flakes.
