GEM is aggressive with the front ~8th as well. Classic "arctic" look to it.

We need rain amd appears out chances are dwindling this week We are about to embark on a pretty wet period over the next two weeks....pretty decent pattern shift with repeat cold fronts....really I would say it looks like the first arctic front of the season. I would not be surprised to see temps dip at night into the 40s within the next 2 weeks, especially in outlying areas.

Storms is western MO gonna make it here? doubtful... once they get a bit more organized and the cold pool takes over they should start diving south... looks like once it links of with the Oklahoma wave it should all start translating that direction... that would be later tonight into Tuesday morning.

Thinking those storms may try to push into the metro. Upwind propagation factor is almost due East and cape and shear are both adequate

SUMMARY...Convection continues to organize and intensify across southwest into central MO. Damaging wind potential will persist into early afternoon.
DISCUSSION...Clusters of convection are becoming better organized late this morning from near Jefferson City to the Lake of the Ozarks, westward to Benton, Hickory and St. Clair Counties. Wind damage and estimated gusts to 60 mph have been reported over the past 45 minutes with this activity. MLCAPE and effective shear will remain favorable for continued organization and intensity as convection track east/southeast through early afternoon. Additionally, a 50-60 kt rear inflow jet between 3-4 kft is noted on recent VWP data from KEAX. Given a favorable downstream environment and organized nature of the developing MCS, expect severe potential to continue into early afternoon across WW 478 and WW 479, with damaging wind gusts being the main concern.

A nice steady rain and 40-50 second rolling thunder. Thermo says 71* but "feels" cooler. Cultivated a food plot and planted some seeds earlier and then we started to hear thunder. Headed back home on the tractor and put everything up and it probably started raining 20 minutes after I was back. Perfect.😁
