Not home to measure yet, but looks to easily be 1 inch if not slightly more. Everything is nice and white. It's definitely enough for me to call it the first official snowfall of the season.

Just flurries at the house in Desoto, but a solid dusting on grass/elevated surfaces here at work just south of Festus.

Pathetically patchy dusting here in Brighton with a few flakes falling currently. Glad the southerns got a little something out of this! Jackpotted! You'll never hear me complain again.

Measuring 1.5" here. I'm quite pleased with this event since it was so conditional and short term models went drier. We know how it usually goes when we have negating factors. Hoping we all get a turn at fun soon.

Eyeballing 0.5" in Alton.
What could have been if this storm had a decent supply of moisture.

I looked out several times last night and early (5:15am) this morning and I have yet to see a single flake of snow 7 miles west of De Soto. My timing must be off a little.

GFS a thing of beauty with a Xmas Eve blizzard...only 30 more runs to go! Pretty well lost it at 06z and there isn't a lot of support at the moment but the signals remain there in my opinion. Hopefully we get it back today and going forward.

My uncle who lives in upstate NY is in Bethlehem, PA to visit family. He's a tremendous weather nerd like myself (probably fueled my passion early on) and I am quite jealous.

woke up to some snow on the deck. so that was nice.
Anyway -- According to Glenn, since this was the "first snow" - we should see 15 snows as it occurred on the 15th of the month. So, using historical evidence and with the Dry Air Monster sitting atop the Arch, I'll apply the following equation for TS (TotalSnows)
TS= [(DayOfFirstSnow)(DAM_Factor)]-(STL_Factor) TS= [(15)(1/3)]-2 TS= 3

Philly hasn’t had an inch of snow since March 2019 and it’s looking increasingly likely they get the shaft with this nor Easter. Tough pill to swallow

"I got a rock"... in Cedar Hill. BARELY even showed up on the truck bed cover. Going to take more than that to satisfy me this winter.
