Going on 13 months without a measurable snowfall here. What a horrific stretch of winter weather Just for clarification, I chalk up anything less than a half inch as a dusting in the book. I did just go outside and measure 0.3" in Arnold.

If Addicted2Weather is on...sounds kind of messy in the Villa Ridge, Labadie St.Albans areas I’m here. I just measured 1.40” about 20 mins ago at my house I’m Villa Ridge. Keep in mind I live on one of the highest points in Franklin County and elevation is playing a key role. Once I got to Union it looked to be about an inch. A little less in some places and a little more on flat lawns. Going out for a beer now driving around and most area chip n seal roads are snow covered with a light slushy coating on back roads. Zero accumulation on any main road.

Haven’t seen any accidents anywhere yet and I’m in Washington now.

Eeked out a heavy dusting here in Brighton...Alton/Godfrey didn't get much if any accumulation but being a bit higher elevation and being away from the heat island up here made a difference. But I'm not even gonna bother measuring, lol.
Still a few showers dropping in out of the north...might pick up a little bit more this evening.
Maybe I'll get that elusive inch Sunday, lol.

Been lucky the past couple of hours. Still snowing. Temp: 33 Three miles SW of Desoto I’m on a hill. Elevation helped.

The southerns have totally been the bread winners this winter, two 1”+ storms most of us in the metro are still hoping to break .25” snow someday.

Nothing like the sound of snow melting at night in the middle of January. I’m ready for spring

My Snow in st.peters has just about all melted. Being in the coldest time of the year and can even get snow to stick other than a light dusting just to have it melt at night is very frusturating.

Ended with about 1.75 inches. Had fun sledding with the kids. Melting fast now. This was our first accumulation of the season. Not all southerns got in on the last one.

If it's any consolation, Sunday's Clipper is coming back south again and also a bit more juicier. Areas along and north of I-70/I-64 still look good including the metro. Be interest to see how trends look tomorrow.

1.25” in Perryville. Kind of a nice clumpy snow that pasted the side of trees. Came down hard for a short while with big flakes. Better than nothing.

I had a little snow burst. Lets hope the 00z NAM is right, as it's further west including St. Louis County for Sun morning like belleville mention. The 00z HRRR is too far east.

Gfs has a nice big wave of snow coming at us from the SW Friday before it vanishes into thin air. It’s much colder, hence the high swishing it. Icon has it too but a hair warm. There may be something there.

Gosh, the setup just looks loaded late next week. Especially with the gfs going back to cold pattern. We have some hope I think.

Gem has the late week storm as well. Please, for the sake of our mental states give us a good storm to track.

Gem has the late week storm as well. Please, for the sake of our mental states give us a good storm to track. If there is a system I worry about lack of cold air with heights rising behind the system. Hopefully we can get a WAA thumping like January 2019. I think BRTN called this overrunning setup a few days ago. Looking like a good call

Ended up with 2.25” on the elevated glass patio table. And as I expected didn’t need to put any chemicals out as ground temps are still hovering just above freezing and quite a bit of pavement surfaces are mostly dried off with the breeze all night long.

We just finished checking sites for refreeze, I actually drove through a moderate snow shower between lake St. Louis and wentzville. Lightly covered all untreated surfaces. We ended up treating everything twice yesterday. I’m definitely ready for a real storm .

Brief glimpse of the sun right after sunrise but now back to the gray. Still had a dusting of snow on the deck and grass but it has quickly melted.
Official snow total from yesterday - .4. more than doubled the seasonal total.
