Recent models are really backing off rain chances tomorrow, in fact most models now show nothing in Metro St. Louis and points northeast. Also some sunshine is even sneaking in Saturday late morning and PM for the areas north of I-64 tomorrow. Thinking any real rain is going to wait till Wednesday, but we shall see.

Either me or the models, or a little of both. But, yep there it is... A soggy Saturday. Suppose cheers to the GFS and ICON/GEM as those still did show some rain last night but the HRRR/NAM 3KM/12KM were the driest ones.

Yup... we are locked under the deformation zone, trowal and a region of CSI so banding potential exists... roughly along I-44 in MO and I-55 in IL.

This would have been an epic winter storm track!

I was worried we wouldn't get much rain with the primary vort max tracking well to the south but the deformation was able to come together nicely. The morel season would have pretty well been toast if it hadn't rained with two days of 80*+ temps and gusty winds.
The EURO was solid with this system.

Looks like the mid-week system may be trending towards more of a heavy rainfall setup vs. severe weather around here. Stalled boundary with several impulses riding along it could drop several inches of rain across the region.

Look how poorly the 06z NAM handled this system...pathetic!

Not sure I've ever witnessed heaving rain. Sounds interesting.

This spring has not been friendly. Freezes, snow, rain, mud, at times droughty almost where the ground drys to the point mushroom hunters suffer. This is just not a typical spring and has a very odd feeling to me this year. I am not even dewinterizing the boat until Mid may because even long term look odd with at least one more frost possible.

Yeah, the way this spring has gone I wouldn't totally rule out another light freeze or frost in early May.

Here is a pic of 4/20 snow at 1:30pm before it started to accumulate. Naturally I didn't take anymore pictures.

Pfizer Jab #2 kicking into gear. I was down and out of it the day after my second Pfizer. Nausea, fatigue, headaches, but woke up the following day feeling completely fine.

Me as well with Pfizer #2 last weekend. Fever, nausea, chills, body aches, headache the whole works from hour 12-36. Then I was fine. So it's free obviously but...uh...I feel like I got my "money's worth".
