Looks like the main storms tomorrow will be early morning. May have some decent dry time after that with scattered showers.

Pulled the plug on the weekend of camping at Hawn for Mother's Day due to looking like a washout, almost had second thoughts when Chris posted about not believing this was a setup for a total washout weekend but cancelled nonetheless, and now full of regret as it is sunny and blue skies with no rain on radar anywhere nearby...stuck drinking on the patio and smoking up some meat for tonight. Chalk up another win for "old guy" forecaster knowledge over models. You win again Chris.

Holding tough in the L/M 50s here with a stout E wind...definitely not as much rain along the warm front as expected today.

I think we may be in for some strong winds with MCS tonight.

Pretty sure that would kill anyone if you were struck in the head. I wonder how it didn't shatter on ground impact

Well..that was underwhelming. Washout weekends sure aren't what they used to be. The results have not matched the synoptic signals from the long range forecast. Timing of the waves of rain have helped mitigate the impacts as well. One thing that has worked out from the original forecast... the warm air never made it north of I-70. It may not be raining as much... but it certain has been chilly to cold. I'm sitting at 49 right now!

I'm happy with the amount of rain we've gotten. Models earlier this week suggested a lot of rain this weekend, and I'm glad for two reasons how it turned out: 1) just enough rain to water the plants and grass without a big washout; 2) as a homeowner, no severe weather like hail. Hoping for a gentle transition to summer next month without gully washers, and hail.

I think we may be suprised how frosty tomorrow morning may be. Im thinking now that skies have cleared we drop into th 31 to 39 degree range areawide.
With coldest readings near and north of 70 out of the heat island.
Im already 44 and its only 9 p.m.
