94 degrees, DP of 81. Whatever the word beyond 'gross' is, this is it.

Well this squall line right now was a early suprise for all the models. I imagine this squall line will minigate the strength of the potential MSC this evening. Haven't looked too closely though.

The CAMs that I mentioned earlier definitely had this first round modeled accurately and still bring a healthy MCS across the N half or so early this evening with a severe threat.

Didn't get but a few raindrops from this line. It was in the process of forming still. Hoping to get some rain/storms from the batch out west.
But I tell you what, this humidity is awful!

Is that slab of precipitation in north central MO going to make the right turn and head toward us? And will the skies clear out enough to destabilize things?
These are the questions.

Well it sure popped right along that old outflow boundary we saw on radar this morning. Thought they would be a little stronger though.

Absolutely baffles me how these lines blow up 2 miles to the east of me all the time.

Absolutely baffles me how these lines blow up 2 miles to the east of me all the time. I am in Liberty Ridge it's been raining pretty good for a bit now who's some lightning and thunder. I hope it rained at my house 7 miles west of DeSoto. If it was two miles east of you and you are 11 miles west of DeSoto, I should be good.😁😁

It rained just enough here to wet the ground but the returns on radar really blew up just to the east. Desoto looks to be getting a good downpour that’s for sure.

Just confirmed with my next door neighbor it's been raining seven miles west of DeSoto for about a half hour. That's good even though I watered this morning a little bit we needed it.

I heard sonder just as I was getting in my vehicle leaving Liberty Ridge a while ago. I thought it was odd cuz I didn't see anything else on the radar after the line went through. So I'm driving home and I'm looking West out age and it's looking rainy. And I says to myself self I hope that hit the house again. About 3

I don't know why I hit the send button. About three or four miles out it just started pouring on me again. I got to the house and it looked like it had rained a little bit more. The Cedars had some water in them. Don't want severe weather but it looks like that stuff north of 70 is trying to make some southern growth or right turn

Looks like steamy mid-level temps are going to win out today keeping storms at bay. Probably going to hit upper 90s in the Metro with HIs approaching 110.

It was quite the lightning storm we had here yesterday evening. Lots of cloud to ground. It knocked some people's power out. Ours blinked a few times, but it didn't go out. There was a pretty good downpour that brought about half inch.
