Some of you guys beat me to it, but I was logging in to comment that I can't remember a year (including last year) where I've had to mow THIS regularly allllllllll summer long, into August. Normally I'd be able to spread out at least every 2 weeks or so this time of year, but I'm barely getting 5 or 6 days and its a jungle.

Our grass has dried out quite a bit here this past month. Even with a couple of heavy rains. Didn't cut last week. This week it needs it in spots but not too bad.

That's really sad. That image brings back memories of my childhood sitting and watching TWC for hours on end.
I also know of a healthy 30 year old who just passed from it. I'm getting my shot tomorrow after holding out for some time. Didn't worry too much about it being 32 but things have changed.

All models basically have Henri coming ashore somewhere in New England now. Probably won't have the strength of Sandy but something to watch.
Meanwhile we are stuck in the dog days...next week looks rough again. Come on, Fall.

Definitely some similarities there with the trof pulling it ashore and phasing but the inland system is substantially weaker with this setup. |

We need this rain to hit in the overnight hours this weekend. We have our biggest Race and Pyro weekend at WWT Raceway fri/sat, not the biggest shows, but a lot of setup throughout the day, with various parts of the show at different times of the day. Basically, pre race , post race, winners circle, airplanes and Air Force also. With it being a double header, NASCAR Trucks Friday, and INDYcar on Saturday, we’ll need a lot of dry time.
And for those attending and have in the past, we have some really nice surprises for the fans this year. I didn’t think I could top my wall of fire from prior years, that you see in all the commercials, but this year is really going to be special.

Not as often the last couple of years but we are there quite a bit. Yeah just over a year ago I decided it was time I become a race car driver! Now I get to sit in my garage and fix all the stuff I broke from hitting walls and other cars 😂 It's pretty darn fun though! We race about every Saturday at 7 o'clock at I-55 raceway in pevely if anyone is interested in watching a fun night of dirt racing 🏁 I'm the black n lime green pro4 car with Marvin the Martian stickers on my car! Also The Fruit Stand Logo 😂 |

I seen where Ryan Maue retweeted someone saying Hurricane Warnings were now in effect for New Haven. I went to National Hurricane site and no graphics posted. I then clicked on Grace's symbol in the Gulf, then clicked on Henri's (ahn-REE's) symbol and it showed Grace's verbage. WTH
