I am honestly really struck that this hasnt broken through. It's not the biggest meso band but we finally get one and it won't saturate. Like what the f?? If this was Iowa it would be a surprise 3-6". In STL its hope and hell Waning forcing + dry air = a bad time

Light snow now.
Back to essentially nothing.
Radar returns are deepening. Probably in response to the ejecting energy.

The Hrrr is even further South. Nothing until you get 40+ miles South of STL.
The rap throws us a bone.
However that bone is right now.
The rap thinks the snow is reaching the ground when it's not

This was brutal everybody. Now we have two days of basically horrible cold. The kind of cold that can kill people who are out on the street in a couple hours it's terrible and we don't even have any snow. And then we get an amazingly fast warm up and possibly thunder showers this weekend like what the ? Just pray that something comes together in February March maybe we will get lucky and get a couple warning level events

The band of snow is finally breaking through as it says South along 44/64.
Maybe we can get a thick dusting or half inch.
I don't know. Just hopeful

Snow should be breaking through along 44 in Missouri all the way to the river. And between 70/64 in IL. This should expand and say South through daybreak. Latest rap...HOLY CRAP

Very very large FLAKES

It won't last but it's a snow globe out side.
Large to very large FLAKES moderate snow.
Snow is sticking to everything.
Flake size decreased a bit. Based on radar trends I think Belleville will have accumulating snow until about 7AM.
Probably picking up an half inch.

Side note there is a pretty darn strong signal for freezing drizzle/rain saturday morning on latest nam. That will definately cause some issues. Good call chris on pointing that out
