Well we have all seen snow, we had that .1 inch at the airport this last weekend, and now the south is getting some. We now have all seen at least 1 flake hopefully after today lol and then on the some freezing drizzle risk yuck.

It truly is amazing how many winter events split the metro with a gradient or cut off...

We are always walking the line in the metro. We have got to be the most difficult area in the country to forecast meteorologists in St.Louis should make that of a Neuro Surgeon, because thats what its like to forecast in st.louis

Are you still gettimg snow friv or did it shut down. It's still snowing but the end is soon. It's 1/3". The grassy areas are now blending white. Looks like the last band on radar is moving through. Flake size and rate have picked up again. The dry air is about to shut things down along 44/64 tho.

It truly is amazing how many winter events split the metro with a gradient or cut off... Well we got a tiny amount of snow today. But in the end you will have more. I'm feeling a 01/01/99 setup again. You had to get 10"+ Have you ever seen a system to our West right into a massive dome of cold like that??

Kids are back in bed. Guess I’m working from home today. Crazy how little it takes these days for school to be closed. Definitely looks to shut down shortly based on radar trends.

That was a doozy but I'm just not feeling any big storms like that this year...hope I'm wrong. With the way these quick super cold air masses keep plowing in and out quickly. We could definitely have a southern stream system lift out of Texas and plow right into a super cold airmass. That storm had a H7 track through NW Missouri. H850 through east Central Missouri passing NW of all of us. Talk about insanity. We had something like -8 to -18C mid level temps when the snow started and warmed up above freezing within 4-7 hours of onset snow. In Fairview heights at the time we received 5.5" of snow and 3" of sleet roughly. The sleet was huge and very heavy

Im still watching the tail end of the storm saturday night for possibly a little wet snow as well. Most likely would be a mood snow, but definately the freezing drizzle is a concern at onset.

Snow has ended here now. 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch final. Just enough to make it white.

Thick coating. Already melted on the street, and most of the driveway. Concrete patio covered, partial covering on mulch. 15 degrees.

1/8" in Northern Wildwood. I'll take the dusting at this point. It makes the outside look more pretty!
