I feel like it was important to stress the rain in my above post because I can already see people freaking out when it's raining tomorrow and not snowing or sleeting.

9Z SREF at KSTL mean is 9.0" and the median is 7.3". I had to do the median manually. It is rather annoying typing in 26 numbers by hand. I'll probably only do it again for the 21Z run today.

BRTN, I was born and raised in Belleville, it's no longer the beautiful city it was 20-30 years ago. We migrated east in 1990 because we saw what was happening, and moved our business east in 2000. Now back to this awesome storm we have coming. Yeah its good for us. But not so much for the folks in Perryville, St. Gen, Farmington and any other backwoods backwards hick h*** hole. If we gett the 12-20" band to run up 44/64 the entire metro will be plastered in white Honest question...have you ever even been to any of those places you just blatantly insulted?
I've been to Belleville and it's no paradise.
I sent you a PM asking if you're OK, because it's clear you are not...and you didn't even bother responding.
Get over yourself, dude.

Well the first snow amount mentioned on fox2 5-7 inches. using chris' map and numbers. Keeping the message universal so it doesnt change between mets probably. Which is good

Now's a good time to remind people to pack a kit in their vehicles--water, non-perishable food, blankets, etc.

Normally I would clear my own driveway but I will be sitting this one out and paying someone else to do it. The five inches we got in Moberly a couple of weeks ago nearly did me in so I am not even going to try and mess with whatever we get with this storm.

West Belleville and parts of the north side are an extension of East St. Louis with just a few less homicides, but plenty of other violent crimes and undesirables. There are decent to good neighborhoods around (I live in one such of those), but most of it has gone to heck in a hand basket. At least until you hit downtown and most of the east end of town into Mascoutah, O'Fallon, New Baden, etc...

12Z brings the dream back... Kinda of, though a bit more realistic. No more 24-36" amounts, but 8-12" is certainly still a very solid dangerous storm. Who knows it could still change over quicker and we get more, but with how this year has been anything over 3" will feel significant.
