I can't go to sleep either - This storm feels sort of eerie - Like we have never seen - Just my gut - A little nervous but excited...

Still nothing but sleet in Farmington. Haven’t seen snow yet, but patiently waiting for it to arrive! :-) Looks like the snow/sleet like setup just north of Farmington. Snow should win out eventually.

Man, I thought for sure the way the radar echos changed to a more diffuse green when the heavier lift caught up to the more showery looking stuff that it had turned to all snow.

Sheets of sleet in Perryville. I’m pretty sure I’m seeing some flakes mixed in as well. Sure hope it can kick over sooner rather than later.

The snow is very fine here. I was scared it was sleet, but it's definitely not....small flakes, but tons of them.

Salt shaker stuff isn't accumulating very efficiently.

Light to occasional moderate snow 15 degrees in Earth city probably 1.5” since it started around midnight. Even under darker returns, the flake size is tiny I guess due to the wind maybe. Definitely blowing and drifting . Definitely snowed way harder yesterday but this looks to go on for a while, hopefully at some point flake size will increase some

Woke up and looked on my deck. Nothing on railings or deck other than the concrete sleet, couldn't see anything falling. Turned on the light and very tiny flakes coming down almost sideways. The snow box surprisingly looked to have a few inches in it. Sure would like flakes I could actually see. These are like the other snow system where I had only tiny size. Will get a few more hours sleep (if I can because now I'm anxious) and check again.
