Just waking up looking at radar and wondering why the back edge is already here!?!? Didnt think it was suppose to be over until later... And I'm not seeing no minimum of 3 inches. I'm reading dry slot on some posts. So guess I ended under that. Wth! Check the KC radar

They lowered my areas expected snowfall. Bummer. I have all sleet here. Maybe a inch of it. Rds look terrible!

Yes, roads are deteriorating rapidly where sleet has predominated. Hearing reports of wrecks locally.

Roads in West County are a total mess. Manchester Ballwin area roads are slushy sleet combination and slick

Just dropped down to 32* 7 miles west of De Soto. All snow here very light and small flakes. Looking at radar echoes about to exit the area, love it when a plan comes together.

Yes I went back and checked your forecast earlier Chris. I was going by nws old posting. Your always spot on! 😉 I just was shocked when I looked at Radarscope and seen the back edge already. Radarscope definitely isnt the best radar for looking at broader areas. I had to click KS radar to see the deform band coming down this way.

The region will get swiped by the wraparound late this afternoon. with up to 1 inch from that in the metro..a little more to the northwest.

EURO's handling of the deformation zone looks solid based on radar trends with some of the convective elements from the HRRR.

Yeah. Looking at RadarScope would indicate this is all but done shortly. Yeah, Radarscope is great for so many reasons. I just wish they would do a region radar covering more then one area at a time. Winter storms are terrible to look at on there, if wanting to see many states at once.
