That bow segment just west of Pevely is trying to rotate on the S end but these storms are having a tough time turning right due to the strong cyclonic flow with this making the shear vector less than ideal for discrete supercells and tornadoes. But definitely a maturing wind threat with tornadoes still possible and hail with the supercells and intense cores.

Just for the record, in Wildwood, we got the outdoor tornado sirens, and they were off about 10 minutes, and then got the Emergency Alert on the television. Our county response was much faster.

Was out on the back patio watching that couplet as it went right overhead, got a green dark look to it but nothing happened and really no winds greater than maybe 20 miles per hour.

Yes. Both sides of 55 there are flooded in all lanes with about 3 feet deep standing water
