No meso yet for an extension of the watch out west. Lots of CAP. So guess other dynamics not impressive. Not sure.

Looks like 2 outflow boundaries collided right over south country and popped another small storm! Cool!

The heavier cores are wanting to shift NE while the trailing outflow fires off popcorn cells further S...thinking rain cooled airmass from earlier storms out there may be favoring a weakening trend along with loss of surface heating. But the outflow is surging east towards the river so continued development of sub-severe cells should continue. |

plenty of action in the southeastern burbs. Even West Belleville is finally getting some rain, as well as a good chunk of the metro east.

0.76" coming up from the south in High Ridge. Lots of thunder now but nothing really showing up on radar

I got zip 7 miles west of De Soto and my rain chances are heading the wrong way and a big rain free gap over my area. I know I'm not alone and glad to see widespread rain around the area.

Zero rain drops here. I just approach every potential rain producing opportunity with a full load of pessimism, that way I’m not disappointed. Live in a rain free zone, and the drought map has backed that up lol.
