Does anyone have the radar estimate for rain for the O'Fallon IL area? 4.25 was total for downtown. Can confirm radar and gauge.

Seems like it was a lot more than that. Had power restored about 2 am, a line of power poles on State Street were snapped.

The Davis on the roof in North St. Pete is reporting .10 What the heck happened? I knew it wasn't much. It went to our north and south and developed to our east. It didn't even start raining until 930 or so; after most of the storms had fizzled out.

I'm looking at a decent Thunder shower due east of my front porch I was going to guess it was around Redbud but I think it's north of there looking at radar they might be more due east of Festus than 7 miles west of De Soto.

I think people are ready for it not to be active for awhile. Been without power since Friday night. Staying with relatives till power comes back.

I get St. Louis immediate area is ready for a break. Some surrounding areas haven’t gotten anything though the last few storms. I know here we got nothing the last few storms. It’s still dry as bone here in Fletcher.

Looks like the nocturnal activity may miss the Metro to the W/SW Tuesday AM but Tues Eve/Wed AM is definitely looking interesting with a strong wave moving along the boundary draped through the area.
Models have once again backed off on the heat potential in the medium range as well with NW flow dominating overall.

Simulated radar shows that storm in Kansas City dissolving right as it approaches STL...
Hopefully the heat of the day causes some additional growth to that complex...

Unfortunately, destabilization is being limited by smoke and debris clouds...the real juice is in S MO. There may be a few storms that develop but that cluster is going to favor a track SW of the Metro from the look of things.

The smoke is thick today. Hopefully we can get some rain to at least get some of the low altitude smoke cleared out. On the plus side it's probably keeping temperatures a couple of degrees cooler than would be otherwise.
