Beginning to think we won't see much if anything tonight/overnight. Short term models have really cut back on QPF the past couple hours.

Looks like it might miss us to the west and then move south. Hrrr picked up on this scenario.

Heavy rain and even some small hail in Arnold

This stuff sure popped up quick. Seems more like the type of out-of-nowhere storms you get late afternoon/when the sun is up.

Winds pushing 50-60 mph, heavy rain and about 5 minutes of hail, sounded like a little bigger than pea-sized. South County, 1 mile NW of Jefferson Barracks.

This stinks. I can hear the thunder - it keeps waking me up. But I'm getting essentially no rain. Didn't get much Sunday afternoon either.

Radar estimates around me, 7 miles west of De Soto, have me between 1 and 2". It looks like demerson is 'squarely' in the 2" range so curious to see what he posts. Our power flickered enough to caused alarm clocks to flash. Another dwindling system from Richwoods to Festus as far as a rain hole goes. Looks like Hwy TT and Charter Church Rd. in Festus was the loser this round. Much needed rain for sure.

One inch in my “gauge”. Had some pea size hail this morning around 6am. Idk about two inches. Just west of me got hit pretty good though.

The Davis on the roof in North St. Pete is reporting .05 from yesterday afternoon and last night. What a disappointment. Meanwhile my wife was at Dierbergs @ 79 Crossing yesterday afternoon during the severe t-storm warning and said it was pouring huge drops and raining sideways with the wind.

Weather alarm just went off and I was just assuming it was possibly the weekly test went in that said severe thunderstorm watch but it ended at Franklin and Washington counties and doesn't include Jefferson or the city. But some possibly more rain.

Funny how storms can blow up around town. But the area coming down from northern/Central Mo is just hitting a brick wall and dissolving.

OMFG BASEBALL SIZE HAIL OFF FOLEY DRIVE IN BELLEVILLE. ITS BEEN HAILING FOR 15 MINS Please post pics. Maybe not baseball size but definitely between golf and baseball size on the biggest ones I picked out of the front yard. This was about 7 minutes after it stopped. So it seems I exaggerated. I certainly did not intend to do so and I apologize for that. Never the less...

Confirmed 2" diameter hail falling between 3:33 and 3:45PM (12 Minutes) between Rt. 13 and Frank Scott Parkway West/I-15 area. Lots of leaves and small sticks/twigs also downed.
Most intense hailstorm since end of April 2012!
