I had some major weather anomaly happen at my house today!😅 This extremely moist substance fell from the sky for a short period of time it almost looked like the stuff we used to get... I think they called it rain 🌧️ Then I actually heard some loud noise up in the sky not sure what it was, but I've heard stories about this stuff called thunder! It reminds me of those stories... I got a rock Same here.

I’ve seen some video of quite a bit of hail in Wright City in that storm coming down 70. Nothing real big but a lot of it.

I had some small hail here, but my coworker on the other side of Wentzville had some golf balls that cracked their windshield.

I was able to get a pic but it doesn't do it justice. That cell was amazing looking from 7 miles west of De Soto. Pic was taken at 6:03pm.

What a strange little system this is. Large hail in late September is rare at best yea?

Looks like I missed the cells in JeffCo by ___ that much. Heck of a light show and loud thunder.

Yes agreed, my yard is mushy again. It really was coming down overnight with bouts of small hail.

Another .125" added in the rain gauge for a total of .25" for 'The Event'. Sure could of used more. The pond is pretty low again.

Missed any significant rain last night. Had enough this AM to get the dust settled on the driveway. I'm over this pattern.

Swingset Davis reports 1.08" since midnight and a storm total of 1.31"
Sleep was a bit of a challenge last night, between the close lightning/thunder and the dog, who apparently needs to be up by my head when that happens.

Our dog feels the need to lay on my head or stand on my chest during night time storms. She’s an Australian Kelpie and way too big for that.

Well I know it's Fantasy Land but finally on the GFS 12z run "A true taste of fall...even brings the 540 line down to us around the 9th lol!! Probably be gone on the next run but Wishful Thinking..I'm so over the warmth!! Bring on 60's days and 30's to 40's nights!! I'll have to look at the Euro to see if it sniffs any of this out in the future...

It has been extra hard for me this year since baseball is usually my summer/fall hobby. Not many fun games to watch this year.

Storm total last night was 0.8" IMBY...several rounds of thunderstorms early this morning.
Hoping we can turn the spigot back on later this fall and finally kick this drought to the curb.

Yes, WSC it's been a long Summer...don't hate me or the forum I'm originally from Boston so I do still hold some loyalty for the hometown team..that being said I loved the Cards when I was there,(Boston) as I always rooted for them as well when I was a kid..56 now so definitely seen some good teams..long story but yes baseball has been dismal for me this Summer but I still enjoy watching playoff baseball so if the weather can cooperate and get us "into October " I'll be a happier person..lol Winter is my time for tracking, and this forum with individuals like yourself and others offer such great insight it's fun to follow along! I'm hoping fingers crossed that the El Nino will be more of a Modoki one as from what I've read that could really favor the Midwest! I moved here in 2012 and Winter of 2013/14 was great..I got a little spoiled thinking that was the usual...nonetheless I love weather and the model riding is always a past time..almost time for the heartbreak....
