It helps if I pay the bill. I figured something like that. I think it happened before a number of years ago. It looks like the DNS has replicated through this part of the world and all is good.

This rain event has been real underwhelming so far here in Waterloo....need more rain 🙏. Drought makes more drought...
The St. Louis split is real! Might be something this evening as the low pulls away but probably won't amount to much. To be honest models have picked up very well on the QPF min zone that we found ourselves in. Why I wasn't much excited about this. Sunday looks interesting, but only somewhat.

Louisania on the other hand is dealing with twisters, or at least possible tornadoes. Gnarly cell north of Alexandria, LA

If this system had a bit more cold air connection, the Metro and W counties would be getting a decent hit of snow...somewhat encouraging to see a mid-level low taking a good track in late November.

What this storm lacks for in quantity, it makes up for in pure cold wet November miserableness.

00z Icon is pretty interesting on Sunday.
Would potentially lead to some light accumulations in the metro.

Yes WorldSeries
00z GEM,GFS and Icon have that "storm" again for late weekend early next week.
GFS says all rain. But Icon and GEM have some snow.
Hope the trend continues.

If anything happens this weekend it'll be a few sprinkles or flakes. Very light spotty stuff. Not even worth it.

Back online! I’ve been forced to double up on Cardinals blogging (welcome back Lance Lynn). Unfortunately, not much to say about the weather. I think we get flakes over the weekend, but no accumulation. Shouldn't really need pitch comm with him. Let's go with another fastball.
Like a buddy of mine said, if he works slow and walks a bunch of guys, he'll a perfect replacement for Dakota Hudson.
Might as well give Joe Kelly a call, too.

They are obviously going to make a splash for a top of the rotation pitcher. They have about $40 million left in the budget.
Most likely they will sign Sonny Gray and trade for someone like Shane Bieber or Tyler Glasnow.
Lance Lynn is here to eat innings and give good interviews.

That bowtie gets a little tighter every year. I hope you are right but we have been shown that as long as they get revenue from butts in the stadium seats, they are just fine with mediocrity on the field.

Last year was a disaster, but a lot of terrible offensive sequencing and bullpen leverage that is likely to regress towards the mean. Things aren’t as dire as they appear by the overall record. Still, if they don’t get one #1 or #2 I will wholeheartedly admit I was fooled and join your side. Glasnow is an ideal upside target that will have minimal prospect cost, so I really want him.

Mo may be strapped by Dewitt cash wise but the decisions made the last few years have been awful ones regardless. More than anything, I despise his political response to every question. He'd make a great White House Press Secretary.

I'm not having any issues at work. Looking ahead and past Thanksgiving, there is solid support for the upper level energy to pass north of St. Louis over the weekend and that track would support... at most...some patchy rain/snow/sleet showers depending on the final thermal profiles...but anything more than a novelty as the first winter precip of the season. Outside of that I'm just not seeing anything to get all that interested in for the weekend. Of course, it will be cold... but that is nothing out of the ordinary for late November.
The Icon is further south... and would support a bit more of a mix further south for Sunday morning... but seems unlikely it would amount to more than token first flakes. But we let's get it a little closer. That is still a long ways out there.
