The weekend snowstorm just straight up disappeared on most models It was always unlikely we got snow anyway, but dang Yeah, model abilities in this pattern are diminished. Inside 6 days was not enough for conceptual accuracy. Probably needed to be within 96 hours. Oh well, we will get our first storm eventually. I’m used to no snow in December.

I'll predict a thin squall line moving fast, then cold rain and a few flakes

There's going to be minimal rain and it's going to be a beautiful day Saturday.

There's going to be minimal rain and it's going to be a beautiful day Saturday. Unfortunately, the whole area really needs the rain.

Record high of 73⁰ for today looks safe. Highest I saw was 67 before it started backing back down.

This has to be one of the worst patterns for winter weather in North America I’ve seen

Anything showing long-range that offers any bit of hope for colder and active around the holidays?

December might be a write off A weather YouTube channel just posted a video about Teleconnections indicating a PV stretch around Christmas week, and colder. Any thoughts on that?

Models are showing a really bootleg looking setup for snow around here towards next weekend with that weird looking cut off...I guess that's the next potential disappointment in line, lol.

I think the fact this thread is called "Hints of an early winter" has cursed us...
Chris Make Next Thread Call "the winter that never happened" let's try some reverse psychology 😂
Ps; technically winter starts in 2 weeks ❄️ ⛄️ 🎅 #2MoreWeeks

12z euro phases the cutoff and things get weird across the Midwest 😂
I guess anything is possible, and this will be a new way for a upper 30s cold rain.
