Getting under some 35dbz returns and it's pouring dwarf hamsters out there. Solid Moderate almost borderline heavy snow. Heaviest I've seen in a while.

Also now it is turning into a very fine snowy mist now here as the forcing looks to be shifting east a bit. But I got 0.5 out of the deal.
My parents in ofallon hardly have it in the eaves of the roof. Big difference 7 miles makes.

Driveways now covering in st.peters. slush beginning on neighborhood streets. Snowfall rates are overwhelming the warmer ground. Not seeing that in O'Fallon, MO -Lt snow with very light dusting on grass...streets are wet I'm not seeing it in far north St. Peters, either. Deck has a coating and grass is getting coated but pavement is just wet. Temperature is at 33⁰

Roads are now becoming covered down here in SG county. 1/2 inch or so. Very serene. Sticking to the trees quite nicely.

Been busy ... Then looked outside...
DAMN!!!
looks like maybe 2" in the grass so far. I'm our small culdisack right along Foley across from the big fire station that's across from Millie street.
The sideroads here are snow covered maybe 3/4-1" including the driveway.
Still snowing lightly with round two looking very well organized now pushing in heading NE to NNE into the immediate Metro.
Radar shows snow returns getting stronger along and East of the river.
Pockets of near 35 dbz heavy snow are emerging.
Our roads got covered apparently about an hour ago when it flat out poured low vis very heavy snow.

Is the 00z data supposed to have the Hurricane Hunters findings included? Would the NAM have that and not RGEM? Or both?

Roadways are getting sketchy in St. Francois county. My son works at a radio station and sent some pics from his drive home. Side streets covered. Accidents being reported too.

It's really a nice area.
I was told the flagpole on the other side of Foley over in Signal Hill is the highest elevation in St Clair county.
have you heard that? Is it true?
