I know we are trying to focus on Tuesday but the fact that, one, I’m not getting anything Tuesday and, two, the GFS has had 4 straight runs showing that Friday system is incredible.
Also, did Icon just get added to pivotal or have I missed that?

Weekend snow is wonderful- and I’ll take snow anytime I can get it, but a school day snow is particularly beautiful to this principal!

Really excited for Friday. Normally our biggest snows are followed by an arctic airmass.

Just a few differences between the 12z nam and rgem 😂
Matters for impacts to those north of 70

What is the impact area for Fridays storm as of now? Or the general area. Asking for us southerners.

What is the impact area for Fridays storm as of now? Or the general area. Asking for us southerners. There could some appreciable impacts to travel, but we are too far out to worry about it... especially with such a potent storm coming out ahead of it Tuesday. We need to see how that changes the playing field before we look closely at later this week.

Speaking of the early week storm… I see nothing in the morning data that causes me to need to change anything that I put out last night. So, it's steady as she goes.

Seems like the models really fell into line on the northern solution for Tuesdays system once the data from the hurricane Hunter's soundings were fed into the systems.
Wondering if anything similar is planned to get a clearer picture on the action forecast for the end of the week. Anyone know?

I wouldn’t say the GFS camp is on its own Last night Euro agreed with it and the 06z EPS isn’t dissimilar We will see what the 12z run says

Just asking a question..but with all that Arctic Air barreling in with strong HP coming from the NW force..that storm further south? Like GFS and EPS are showing...that's some Burley looking Cold on Icon and GEM at end of thier runs...-55 north of Montana and North Dakota, plus a better snow-covered area North and West after Tuesday.. Talking Friday's outcome. Ty
