It sure feels stormy, it's hotter and muggier after the outflow went through and sun coming out again. Currently 75

Spc backed off significantly on severe weather for today which makes sense in our area. Looks like it will be more of a soaking rain then storms for our area.
Which is good we don't need severe weather.
Im more interested in Thursday for our area.

In my opinion dave Murray is not the most concerned and seems fairly tame that is all, as that is who is talking on 98.7.
I don't want anyone hurt or injured, I just don't feel like he is pushing it that hard

Dave Murray just said on the radio the dry air kept things in check basically the immediate metro on the west side of the Mississippi, and the Illinois side is the big threat

Meaning it did not come together in time for the north half of the metro

Metro st.louis was just not in the area for today's storms. Which is a very good thing. I did not want severe here. We only had a tenth of an inch

I must say this has been an active severe weather season in our area. We have been hit with 3 sizeable hail events in St.charles County, and I am glad my new roof is not going on until April 30th.
I guess if we get beat up again might as well do it before the new roof.
And rainfall in my part of St.Peters was .71 so not a ton but the grass is looking great.

I would prefer a strong message from the SPC, as a few weeks ago they were not bullish enough.
I think enhanced is fine.

Right climatologically these temps are not unusual, it's just the anamolous warmth cause the early budding.

Had a couple pieces in my yard that were tea cup size today.
What a wild day.
I would say the slight risk could of easily been enhanced in the metro

Looks like the boundary may retreat back to the metro this afternoon.
Could be initiation zone close to the metro

This week has been one of the wildest roller coaster rides in temps we have seen in a long while.
70 degree swings from coldest to hottest, and back to near 80 sunday.
No wonder folks are all sick at my work.
