The 111 predicted in Portland OR is insane. All time high there is only 107.

The way that supercell in kansas is rolling down i70 is reminding me of April 10, 2001.

I know a couple who are getting married in Estes Park on Saturday. I was talking with them several days ago about the possibility of snow and they were both super excited for the possibility of a solid thumping on their wedding day. I spoke with them again last night and now they are concerned that it may be too much and cause problems with the wedding. The GFS snow depth product is showing 90" of snow there. There’s no way the roads will be drivable with 90” of snow on them lol. Gunna need a snowmobiele to get in there.

I’ll take the euro. Less than 2” of rain here while it hammers SW MO.

Look at the date range, that’s primarily because of the Joplin tornado.

Looks like we will end the streak at 14 days at or below freezing, 2 days short of getting on the leaderboard. Dang.

Wow, the GEFS 18z ensemble doesn't get us above freezing until 2/22. Ugh. Brutal.

imgur.com/gallery/LTJWt3PSitting here at 9000’ elevation about 10 miles northeast of Winter Park CO and not a single flake has fallen yet. Guess you bring the curse of St. Louis with ya whereever you go. The sun is even poking out. Cant say Im complaining though, because the driveway to the airbnb is very steep and would be a challenge to shovel lol. Looks like the snow is staying east of here.

I will take 100-110 with a sub 60 dewpoint any day over 92-97 with a 70-80 degree dewpoint like we have seen for much of the summer.

Dewpoints in the high 70s to low 80s are feeding the storms nicely. It looks like the mcs may be ahead of schedule a bit.
