When Chris sat on the desk and posed, I saw a glimpse of George Costanza, when he posed in his boxers...lol Great stuff, Chris and the rest of the Fox 2 News in the morning gang!!! Gave me a smile to start my day before I've even had my first swallow of coffee

Motorola still makes phones? I had a couple of their flips back in the day when they were hot Moto X4 Android one is what I use. Super phone with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage running stock Android that gets all the updates for 2 years. Cost $180 new. I use it with Cricket. If you need to go with the best camera and a huge phone then go with a Google pixel. Android is so much more diverse than iOS. Motorola has amazing devices

Wife and I switched from the IPhone, to the Google Pixel XL last year. No REGRETS. Love them, very simple and user friendly. Oh, and the Pixel has an awesome camera Got a question for you folks...my iPhone 7 took a crap. Hardware issue. Just came from the Apple Store and was EXTREMELY displeased with the outcome. I've had several iPhones but that about did it for me. Has anyone here ever made the transition to the Google/android phones? Which one would you recommend?

Hope all is well with Daisy Chris.
Luckily I had a (over)full 2ton of chemicals in the spreader this morning. Wasn't expecting to use it until this weekend, well that didn't happen and changed the plans...lol

Ref Hockey, if it was a month, month and a half ago, I'd miss it. Not the way they are playing, we went last Tuesday, and have never seen a Blues team play like they are, And I have been in from the beginning.

We had quit a few reverse migrating, but not an excess amount, just small groups of 500-1000 dropping into Mascoutah area corn fields. 3/4 of them would drop in, as 1 out of 4 just kept heading north. Are those birds on radar over the eastern counties? It really cloudy any heavy up here, so I would say it's light rain or virga.

Congrats Chris, on 25 years with all of us.
So we have something in common and share a date Chris. Feb 1994, was also when the wife and I had decided to become self employed machining and manufacturing, which is pretty scary with 3 kids, 14yo and under. We started with work order #100, and 1 employee. We are now at work order #23,620 and 25 employees. Not bad for a no college self taught businessman.
Werent you here in 93 when we had those big snows in feb chris? Negative. I went on the air February 5, 1994...after the Great Flood.

We have thousands of speckle belly, Canada, and Snow/blue staging back to the south of my Business in Mascoutah, we’re on the edge of town. Never seen specs reverse migrate like what I saw the past couple days. They’re staging in the city lake and corn field. They kept a steady flow of flocks coming in from the south, and the southeast. I heard more geese flying over my house in the past hour than i can ever remember at any one time.

Use coal, works great. I'm still skeptical...will believe it if the models still show it Sunday. Hard for me to bet against the pattern but with that said I will be cutting some more firewood this weekend to prepare. I am cutting hedge tomorrow. Love the long burn time, critical with extreme cold. Nothing worse than going to sleep wondering if there will be any coals left when you wake!

We thought about it, because it’s a great little place with a lot of potential, but our manufacturing/B2B Fullfilment business is more than enough to keep us busy. And if that wasn’t enough for us, I Crew Chief/Team Manager for a young brother sister race team, that includes a lot of traveling. We would have to have someone run the day to day part of the business. Oh, and push snow this time of year......sometimes...lol It’s a slsnizzard at my house in Mascoutah. Weax, since your deep into bowling, you should look into purchasing our local bowling alley in town that’s for sale. And they also make the best pizza. Poker machine income is also included. I'm terrible financially so I would not make a good owner of a business.

I'm good with that, right into our sweet spot to plow.
I just need a couple hours to attend the Banquet of Champions tomorrow evening in S County
I have no idea what's going to happen. But I feel like Hillsboro to Mascoutah IL and to the SE has the best chance to pull 4-8". I think NW of 44 in MO and 70 in IL could get really hosed.

Did you guys also notice that this snow had a blue hue/tint to it? I brought it up yesterday, but only one other person said they had noticed Did you guys hear 16" of snow fell in Florida? Florida, MO... Some crazy totals with this storm! This ranks with 2006 and the Groundhog Day storm...both 15"+ in spots...and of course the Palm Sunday storm. Yup...all monsters...but different Dynaimcally... this storm was nothing like Palm Sunday... but in terms of amounts and types of snow...it was exactly like the Palm Sunday storm. This was one of the strangest events I have ever seen.

schreib, did you ruffle any feathers today? .....lol My wife thinks they may be heated sidewalks/walkways On one of Timmer's videos, it looked like a little Kubota with a snowblower on the front going around. But that might have been on a side street and not on the arch grounds.

My wife thinks they may be heated sidewalks/walkways Went to dinner tonight at Kemoll's. The clouds obscured the view and we could see the cloud deck was about ten floors below the restaurant. As it changed to snow the cloud deck raised giving a decent view of the arch grounds. One thing i noticed was the pathways on the arch grounds were clear. Anyone know who was able to get that done in the shutdown?

We always give our employees the option if they want to leave. Today, they all stayed until the end, but then again, out here where nobody lives, there isn't as much of a traffic impact as in the BIG city. We have a traffic jam every once in a while, say like when the power goes out, and our 1 stoplight stops working, then we'll get around a 6-8 car backup....lol
