Some good rains tomorrow. Decent upper air support between the upstream and downstream jet streaks. Thinking along and north of I-70 looks pretty good for best chances given where the ensemble means are targeting. WPC actually going with a slight risk of excessive rainfall tomorrow including the metro.

Radar is looking kind of "splitty" this morning, but both the RAP and HRRR indicate that the rain will get its act together this afternoon from about 2pm to 7pm. NAM is doing the splits with the second wave.

Radar looks like there is a gap in the rain along and just south of I-70 that lines up perfectly with metro St. Louis. Heavy rain to the north. Heavy rain to the south. And, unless it fills in, it looks like we're in line to get a pittance.

I have a few drops on my north facing window. And I think I hear some very distant thunder. But so far the pavement isn't even damp yet

Somebody has to be getting wet. BRTN? Got a good soaker but just missed the big rains to the north...I would imagine birddog up near Chesterfield got over an inch judging by the radar loop.

I regards to duck boat... The recordings show that the lake was calm when the vessel entered the lake around 6:55 p.m... they would have beat the rain/storm but I don’t think they realized the gust front. Regardless, maybe shouldn’t have turned course but with a warning shouldn’t be near the water.

Looking out the window you would think its Fall outside. KSTL made it up to 74 today. As it stands right now that would tie the record for lowest high temperature on this date.

a couple of weak supercell structures southeast of STL. May be a brief tornado threat with cell mergers and boundary interactions.

Not as much as the other day but another nice dose of hail in Wyoming. This time a little north of Cheyenne. Also had a couple of tornado warned cells in the area with radar showing some strong wind shear.

We know the fate of the third
