According to the Davis on the roof in North St. Pete we had 1.5" of rain yesterday. Sorry for the delay in reporting. The family that interprets the Davis' information are all sick with colds. Yuck. Much ick.

Last nights euro was showing the PV being displaced into northern Canada at the end of its run. The whole run it was showing well below normal temps for much of Canada and the US

Might be my best forecast of snow showers at 7 days out ever. Time to hang it up and retire. Excellent call.

What happened in Chicago WSC? Looks like it switched back and forth a couple times. The rain band coming off the lake in the middle of the snow band is crazy looking on radar.

Lake temp is 54 degrees and still managed to get this during the day right on lake shore drive Got my puppy in June, so I got to introduce her to snow today.

Wtf is wrong with people? It's chilly outside but good lord go walk around the neighborhood like I used to do, it'll warm you up real quick. It's actually a decent evening. Could be like yesterday...

We sat outside by the fire in 37-33 deg and gave up at 157 kids!

Wow...157 kids? We only had about 10 this year. Last year we had well over 100. To be fair we are in a cul-de-sac that usually gets bypassed.

It turned out to be a nice night. A little chilly, but we had lots of action in our subdivision. It was quite pleasent sitting by the fire after we took the kids out. Wind had died down so that was nice.

Yeah, the system moved out fast enough to take the winds out of the equation. Early on, when this thing looked slower, it looked like the winds (and precip) would last into the evening. But a little faster motion helped with that.
I only heard the dog bark 1x ... so I think we only had one group. Our neighborhood has grow. up... so not mucb trick-or-treating on our quiet corner.

According to daily climate summary... the high was 36 in St Louis yesterday. Impressive in October with no snow cover.
