It’s November 10th and we are looking at snow tomorrow. Everyone enjoy it for what it is. Whether it’s a dusting or 2+ inches, it’s still fun.

The Fox 2 Weather App shows 1-3 inches tomorrow. That app sucks. I think it hurts credibility for the station more than it does good when pros like Chris hafta explain that they didn’t forecast that much.

Just having the opportunity to see some snow falling during the day (which I’m off, yay state holidays) is exciting to me.

European still onboard.
I suspect temp drop will be sharper than forecast...and changeover from R to S will be quick when it happens...but may lag 850mb 0c line a bit.

Euro ensembles have a mean of 2” for most of the area. That won’t all stick but tomorrow is certainly going to look and feel like winter

Anybody else notice a ton of insects outside? Kind of strange considering how cold it’s been recently

For some of you young whippersnappers this blog started on the old Fox 2 website. I remember that community. This blog has helped me through my Dad's passing, and has helped my mom and sister out. Thank you all for your knowledge and thank you Chris for continuing this group when Fox 2 had to conform to the corporate website. I remember this on the old Fox 2 website, as well. Wow, hard to believe it's been such a long time. Please accept my thanks, too, Chris. I feel blessed to have been a part of this place over the years. I may not contribute much other than my weather reports up here in Pike Co, but I've sure appreciated and enjoyed learning many things here and being with all of you other weather lovers. I remember so many years ago too. Wasn't it at one point briefly on a houston site? It was somewhere weird. It's been so long and I'm getting old, maybe it's senility. I also don't contribute much other than what is happening in Arnold and that Fox district is one of the first to start the dominos falling for school closings in JeffCo. When Chris started so many years ago my oldest was in elementary school. Not sure of the year. He's now a junior in college and my youngest is a senior at Fox. Where does the time go. I blinked.

I'm seeing a number of ladybugs crawling around on the window screens. I thought they would be all hunkered in for the winter. Especially after the cold snap last Friday.
Same for the snakes.
