Good news is the GFS only has support from the GEM. I'd rather have the Euro on our side...I think. 99% of the time I'll side with the EURO when it's got support from another model besides the GFS...especially if the GFS isn't supported by it's own ensemble. |

I would think the system would be suppressed to the south with such a cold air mass coming in from the north.

We just need a little amplification and punch from the southern stream. I'd rather not count on the post frontal snow band making it through. |

I hope you all don't mind if I ask for prayers. I have been diagnosed with a rare, aggressive type of cancer, leiomyosarcoma (back in the first part of Sept). Currently doing radiation to try & knock the wind out of it so it can be removed surgically. It's the size of a cantaloupe (& still growing) & I feel like I'm pregnant. It has squished my left kidney & basically fills that whole quadrant of my abdomen. Two more weeks of radiation then 4 weeks to 'cool off' then surgery to remove. TIA

Nws going with 50 chance of snow Monday. Saying if saturation happens fast a couple inches is possible, if dry air wins maybe some flurries.

18z gfs coming in better. It finally is showing precip along and behind the front.
However, the gap between the frontal precipitation and southern energy should make for a classic split.
