Still... almost no rain here in chesterfield. We had a little withe storms last night... a 3 minute shower around noon... and nothing since. That looks to be about to change.

Tonight looks awfully wet along and west of the river. MCS that begins in Nebraska will ride the boundary into our area with convection flaring up along the boundary ahead of it

Now that you can overly mPING reports on RadarScope they need to have more options other than “rain”. I know it's somewhat subjective but I've always thought it strange that there's no differentiate between light rain and a deluge.

Nice shelf cloud with refreshing outflow coming into Perryville. Looks like the threat of anything stalling is over.

Looks like we are getting our rain out of the way for the Independence Day weekend. To bad most celebrations are canceled.

More storms look to be firing out near Keokuk. Thinking that's the start of the overnight MCS that should drop S through MO or along the river.

Well the line is holding together somewhat. Some of us will likely see some storms this morning - might be a decent remnant shelf cloud with it.

Surprisingly we lost power up here. Nothing like trying to get ready for work in the dark at 4 am. Had to wake up the hubs to help open the garage door. Although with the way work is going so far I should have called in.

Hrrr has struggled mightily with this whole system. I think all the convective models struggled with this system. Can’t really blame them though. It’s an odd ball of a setup
