It’s dusty/hazy down here this morning. Is that Saharan or something else?

Boundary from that dying MCS should light up this afternoon/evening. Here's what the 12z HRRR shows

Rain chances are going the wrong direction..... we went from a 70% chance to now a 40 % chance.... farmers really need some rain down this way Don't see the reasoning there...between the MCV tracking further south than forecast and the boundary setting up over us it's looking like an active weekend with multiple rain chances. The latest HRRR has training storms down your way this afternoon and evening...which could be overdone but shows the potential. The NAM also lights up the boundary tonight with the LLJ kicking in like Coz mentioned.

Maybe it came in on the outflow from out west like it did a couple weeks ago.

Ran through a heavy rain shower on 32 just west of 67 on our way to St Joe Park. Stopped raining as we were pulling in to gate. Worked perfect. Has kept the dust down tremendously😁 I was worried about the rain shield out west but looks like it dried up. Just down here for the day but my house sure could use a nice soaking rain....not too much though. My daughter and her family are camping so I hope they don't get washed out too bad.

Man it is dusty down here. Went down to cape g. to pick up some groceries and it’s even dustier down there. I thought this stuff was going to be between 5-20k feet, not at the surface?

Latest NAM shows some very good 925 convergence across central MO tonight... would think that would be the zone where storms initiate and work towards the metro. Looks like a training setup.

If I didn't have work tomorrow, I'd ride down there to see if there was any damage.

nice rain storm just as we got home from St. Joe Park. I'm sure I left a trail of mud behind me from 110.
