Euro for Denver. Going from mid 90s heat to 7" of snow in a day This has to be one of the most extreme flips anywhere on record I would think. Not exactly sure how to quantify that other than temperature but the fact that snow is involved puts it in a league of its own.

Wow so according to bwg...it'll definitely be a harsh winter. 🙂 Denver will be an interesting place to be the next few days. I can't imagine anything more fun than that if it verifies.

Last October Denver went from 83 degrees to 20 in 30 hours. That was one heck of a cold front as well. When the front was coming thru, there was a dust storm out ahead of it.

I will be arriving in Winter Park, CO for my honeymoon on Monday night. I will try to get some pics of the snow on Tuesday for you guys! Looking forward to it. We honeymooned in Winter Park 27+ years ago. Our last day/night there we got several inches of snow while the eastern half of CO was getting severe storms and a few tornadoes.

Watches are up, this after a record high of 101 yesterday And another run for 100 today. Although the heavy smoke from the Cameron Peak Fire burning west of Fort Collins may limit us to getting there today. I gotta say what a relief this will be to all those battling the fires here in Colorado, this has been a devastating year for wildfires.

GFS/Nam slowing down the low, closing it off earlier... bigger snows for denver... longer warmth for us.

Will definitely keep you all posted, We recently moved since March so I’m excited to be a little further south closer to the Palmer Divide so usually when events like these happen where just a few hundred feet could make all the difference in how much accumulates. Also when we were bringing our newborn home last March we had to drive thru a snowstorm. A day I will never forget. Believe this is the photo pulling out of the hospital going home. Talk about being a nervous wreck having a newborn in the car.

amazing. no bermuda high in place at all... just on a count of the jet leaving the upper-low behind. this would be a heart breaker in Nov/Dec.

what a joke. I'm off later this week and was looking forward to some 60's for highs or near 70. Not the friggin 80s or higher still and probably humid. Gross.

Two great people have now passed on this day. 12 years ago, my dad lost a many years battle with diabetes...in the process redefining in my mind the meaning of toughness. Today, he has a new friend in heaven to share baseball stories with. RIP Lou Brock!

It’s a 60 game season with huge variance, but the Cardinals are performing admirably given their extreme schedule.
Strange times still, but Cardinals wins make it feel a little more normal.
Hope all are doing well and that we can track some winter storms soon!
