Little shear but some solid CAPE out there. DCAPEs aren't bad either

Anyone know what analogs the NWS is comparing the 2020/2021 winter to? The warm ones where it doesn't snow would be a safe bet.

imgur.com/gallery/LTJWt3PSitting here at 9000’ elevation about 10 miles northeast of Winter Park CO and not a single flake has fallen yet. Guess you bring the curse of St. Louis with ya whereever you go. The sun is even poking out. Cant say Im complaining though, because the driveway to the airbnb is very steep and would be a challenge to shovel lol. Looks like the snow is staying east of here.

Caught a pic of the hail shaft with the storm north of Brighton on the way home. Rotation had weakened by then...

Good looking storm coming up 44 Hope it can make it here I’m hoping so. I feel like it will either go to my north or fall apart before it gets here though. Suns going down at that point.

Gust front just coming through 7 miles west of DeSoto feels great. doesn't look like we're going to get any rain here. Was at Clearwater over Labor Day weekend. gorgeous weather it literally was cold Saturday morning. The lake was pretty chilly at Bluff View. From the inflow of Black River I'm sure. The jet ski's ran great.😁Just a great great weekend but, man, there was a lot of people there. Great wave jumping opportunities, but also, alot of boats to look out for. Had a minor hiccup loading the boat onto the trailer. The trailer came off the ball. Always, always leave chains hooked up. We were able to chock the trailer, slowly back back under the hitch and re-hook up. Maybe 10-15 minutes. No one had to wait thankfully. Could have been much worse. Apparently, the lock nut underneath the hitch had worked loose enough to allow the untimely unhitching. Always check for that, I didn't know a locknut could work loose. It will be replaced before next trip.

Snow struggled to accumulate much of any throughout the day with the warm ground temps and lighter precip. Main band of snow pushed thru during evening rush and now seeing it stick to everything but roads and sidewalks.
