I'll throw it out there...Reed Timmer vs. Ryan Hall I must have missed it. What’s going on between those two? Nothing. With all their social media, who do you trust more?

Day 3 slight risk for areas along and east of the Mississippi on Monday.
The next week looks warm. Can't even get excited about deer hunting yet with these temps.

I mean temps in the mid 80s+ is bad enough, but when you add dewpoints in the mid 60s or close to it, it's just not right.

Some good looking hodographs around here Monday morning Yeah, we may want to watch Monday AM/mid-day for strong storms. That's a compact and potent shortwave pivoting through. Time of day isn't ideal, but it doesn't take much instability with those kind of dynamics.

Looking at the Farmington airport live feed, the wind is blowing from a s/w flow & it's holding the flag pretty much straight out,... I'm sure not getting that kind of a breeze here?

We might not even go below 70* tonight, in the middle of October. Insane.

As mentioned by some others already may need to pay close attention to possibility of severe weather Monday. I don't want to dismiss Sunday night / Monday morning time period, but I think the higher threat may be midday Monday onward from St. Louis and especially areas north and east. It's possible some supercells could develop in this area as the system moves through. If so storm morphology may be closer to the mini / low top supercell end of the spectrum. Much is going to depend on just how much instability develops. Illustrating Euro 925mb winds for Monday with approximate surface features sketched on below. When winds this close to ground are screaming at 35-45kts over the warm sector it doesn't take much to tilt and stretch vorticity into a tornado.

Looks like OKC metro could be in the most favorable location later today for strong, long-lived supercells. Hopefully the time of year doesn't catch too many people off guard

Kind of surprised that’s not a PDS with this kind of wording in the watch:
Primary threats include... Several tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes likely Widespread damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 85 mph likely Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter likely
