Aboslutely horrible performance by models up until the event began. The HRRR which finally caught on was so overcooked early in the event showing storms where there were none... it was useless. And then finally, it got a clue.

Before I left 2 hours ago to go over to STL my creek was not this. Could only see plants. Come back to a raging river. State Street in OFallon is blocked off due to water over the road, water over the road on 50 between the Shell and Motomart right past Venita Dr heading into OFallon.

I swear I went to bed last night with one of my Google Hub routines at bedtime/turning off lights is to give me the weather forecast and it said rain after 7pm tonight.
