Faint pinkish green hue to the north. Nothing spectacular yet.

Faint pinkish green hue to the north. Nothing spectacular yet. Is that visible to the eye or with your camera?

You can see the northern sky get “more pink” to the naked eye. Kinda comes in waves. Not much going on right now.

That’s looking almost west (directly past Swingset Davis) which is where they started last time.

Took some good phone pics of it a few mins ago. Naked eye faint pink in spots on the horizon.

Nice, I can't see nothing in West Belleville visually, tried taking some 10sec night mode exposures to the north and west. Didn't look any anything on the preview photo.

Nothing like the spring show, but you can see wispy streaks across the sky at times. Then point and click.

The photos uploaded to the PC (not shown) and I think they might be showing a bare hint of something 'aurora-like', but this is facing right toward St. Louis so it could just be tricks of light pollution.

Definitely a greenish/red hue to the northern sky at times out here but the moon is obscuring it a bit...hopefully once it sets the viewing will be better.

My brother sent a pic from Bluffton, South Carolina. Can see the pink on the horizon that far south.

We drove out to Busch Wildlife and spent 30 minutes there. Nothing to write home about.
I just need to go to Canada to see them. They are so rarely worth the effort here.

Yup. They popped really nice. Even through city lights once eyes adjusted in Chesterfield!

Definitely the best and way more pronounced and striated than in May.

Wow, I got some amazing photos. They were very visible to the naked eye even with the city lights. Really beautiful red, purple and pink and even some green and orange.
