All I have to say is that protest is absolutely a first amendment right, and I hope that everyone stays safe. I also worry about 'outside' instigators, trying to take advantage of the situation.

All I can say is that our very reliable sources are very concerned about outside influences using this as an opportunity to destablize our civil society. You can certainly argue the imperfections in our society... and there are plenty. But these groups (not the protestors who have a legit first ammendment right) ...it is the outside anarchist groups ...who see this as a chance to slice open a wound and inflict pain to ALL. The worry is real as is the threat. I pray every day for the safety of our reporters, law enforcement and the legit protestors. Peace to all.

Just received this on twitter Thus why I don't like twitter Well, it was kinda correct. They assumed it was for the verdict. But it was for one of the other conferences they had that day. And to be honest, I checked the person out to see how valid they were and there were a few Fox 2 persons who followed them, along with them being a reporter. SO I chalk it up to the same thing as every body is. Jumping the gun. Everyone is so on edge. It reminds me of my dog. When she wants to go out, she will lay there, and be nice. But every time I put a foot down, she thinks it is for her, and jump up and wait right next to me. Same down there, so much a person goes the the bathroom, everyone rushes thinking there is a verdict. I kinda think they (The leaks) do it, so when they do announce it, everyone will be so numb to the false calls, they may over look it. MAY!!!! But twitter is a wealth of "Raw" news. I knew about the Boston Bombings about 45 minutes before it hit the air. Even had pictures and all. Just, As I said before, you have to take it with a grain of salt. One thing I don't like about twitter is how one thing gets posted, then it seem 50 other's post it (I.E. Pertz may tweet something, then Randy retweets it, then Mandy retweets it, then Fox2 retweets it. I follow all them, so I keep seeing the same post several times). |

The 00z NAM has shifted ever so slightly to the southwest with a focus of heaviest precip right down the Mississippi River. Mid-level lapse rates get pretty steep within the primary band...and considering the proximity of the dry slot... convective enhancement seeems to be a good bet. Time of day may once again be a limiting factor. But the 00z NAM continues to strongly support idea of snow/mixed with rain on the western fringes with some accumulations possible.

What I don't understand is they said "Yes we will let march" "Yes we will let you block roads, as long as it don't turn violent." Soon as they started marching, they blocked them. No, I don't see why they got upset...
I mean, I understand the police's concern. Large crowd heading down, but they didn't even give them the chance to see if they were just going to march or if they were going to cause trouble...
