Looks like a heavyvsoaking of 1 to 2 inches for the metro area and points northwest with everyone getting up to a inch according to the nws graphic. Looks like more rain out there then i thought for this early.

Looks like the heavier rain/convection is going to miss mostly to the NW like it has for the past month or so...really becoming a struggle to get a good soaking rain lately. Hopefully the frontal passage tomorrow will bring a good band of rain through. That stuff in SW mo looks to be building I hope it gets us

Just drove from St. Peters to Lake St. Louis. Hit some pretty heavy downpours. The roads are slipperier than they typically are because of the lack of rain to wash off the oily gunk.

It is quite windy here in North St. Pete. The Davis on the roof just recorded 32 mph out of the SSE. It has also reported a dismal .30 for today. Disappointing yet again.

Glad I was wrong last night about the direction the rain was moving. We had an additional 1.65 according to the Davis on the roof in North St. Peters. 24 hour total = 1.95 of much-needed rain.

Very impressive lighting this morning as the storm rolled into Perryville at around 5 AM. Nearly constant close cloud to ground strikes for a few minutes. Now looking forward to seeing that first frost hopefully in the morning.
