Wind hitting 40+ and crazy rain rate with this line/cell. Going solid on 20 minutes and the lightning keeps getting better. Couple power flickers here too.

Flash Flood Warning now up. That's a pretty bad look after just cancelling the flood watch, and considering all the flood problems of last week.

Probably dumping 1.5-2” an hour in the heart of it. And not moving quick at all

Besides the 10 min downpour earlier. Everything has been skipping by us to the south. So close. Lots of lightning to our south today.
Wish it was closer. Sheesh

Very light rain 7 miles west of De Soto. I have been hearing thunder for awhile but very little rain to show for it. That complex over the city looks to be really dumping the rain.

yep, just shows we should not let our guard down, even though flash flood watches were dropped (I see warnings in St. Louis now). My daughter in Wright City is very concerned, so a lot of heavy rain extends out west as well. It has been pouring. Maybe won't be as bad as last week, who knows. But it's no picnic.

that next line coming through warren county is packing a punch. flooding needs to be watched for areas along and south of 70 there.

Thus stuff is just riding along I-70 and to the south. Terrible for them again. And lined up all the way to Kansas City. Appears like it might be another night of flooding in the city of St. Louis and St. Louis County.

This has been one heck of a storm in Arnold. An absolute barrage of CG strikes, accompanied by what I can only assume was a microburst that has small limbs down all over the place. The lightning has been non stop for over an hour now. Just a constant rumble.

Quite a stormy night again eith 2 to 5 inches of rain along and south of 70.
While not as severe as last week still impressive because most of the metro has seen 12 to 24 inches of rain in the last 10 days. That is just unreal.

Quite the severe weather event overnight in Fredericktown. Very real flash flooding coupled with questionably severe winds. Has anyone seen the news this am? Is Chris in town with the storm runner?
